Annual leave and leave pay calculator (Qatar)
Article 79: after a full year of service, a worker gets at least three weeks' paid leave a year, four weeks from five years of service, and a share for part of a year. Article 81: unused leave is paid in cash when the contract ends.
How it is worked out
21 days a year for the first five years, 28 days a year after that (a week counted as 7 days).
Part of a year counts in proportion, by days.
Leave pay is the basic wage on the date it falls due (Article 72). The worker cannot give up annual leave (Article 81).
Assumption: the law sets no divisor, so the daily wage is taken as the monthly basic wage ÷ 30 and the hourly wage as the daily wage ÷ 8, the usual practice in Qatar.
Estimate only, based on the minimums in Qatar's Labour Law. Not legal or payroll advice; a contract or company rules may give more.
Rukn does this for every worker, every month. See how it works
