About Rukn

Rukn (ركن) is Arabic for cornerstone, the stone a structure rests on. Rukn is that foundation for a field workforce: every worker's documents, hours and pay, managed in one place.

Why Rukn exists

Qatar's private sector runs on field workforces: labour supply, facility management, cleaning, security, catering and construction. Most of these companies still manage hundreds of workers with spreadsheets, paper timesheets and WhatsApp groups.

That is where the costly problems start. A QID or work permit lapses unnoticed. Overtime is added up by hand and disputed. The WPS salary file is rebuilt in a rush at month end. Camp beds and bus seats are tracked on paper, and the owner has no single view of who is working, where, and what is due.

What we built

One platform that follows each worker from onboarding to final settlement. Documents and expiry alerts, attendance with fingerprint clock-in, overtime and pay rules, payslips and the WPS salary file, accommodation and transport, a phone app that workers use in their own language, and an AI HR assistant that answers questions from your own data.

Each company sets its own pay rules. Rukn applies them consistently, shows the Qatar Labour Law reference beside each rate, and flags anything below it for review.

How we work

  • Built for Qatar

Labour Law rates, Ramadan hours, the minimum wage, WPS and Qatar's document types are part of the design, not add-ons.

  • Plain and practical

Screens and reports written for the people who use them every day: HR, payroll, supervisors and workers.

  • Pilot first

Every client starts with a free 60-day pilot through two payroll cycles, so results can be checked before any commitment.

  • Clear about scope

We describe exactly what the platform does, and we confirm details such as your bank's WPS format during the pilot.

Based in Doha, Qatar.
