Sick leave pay calculator (Qatar)
Article 82: after three months of service, and with a medical report, a worker gets two weeks of sick leave on full pay, then four weeks on half pay, then unpaid leave, in each year of service.
How it is worked out
Days 1 to 14: full pay. Days 15 to 42: half pay. After that: unpaid.
Pay is worked out on the basic wage (Article 72).
Sick leave of up to twelve weeks does not break continuous service, and the gratuity is not affected.
Assumption: the law sets no divisor, so the daily wage is taken as the monthly basic wage ÷ 30 and the hourly wage as the daily wage ÷ 8, the usual practice in Qatar.
Estimate only, based on the minimums in Qatar's Labour Law. Not legal or payroll advice; a contract or company rules may give more.
Rukn does this for every worker, every month. See how it works
